Construction Journal Entry Week of 6/20/04

6/22-24/04 Andrew and I went up to the property for 3 days: Tuesday through Thursday.

This entry was written by Andrew:

We Arrived at1:15 PM.. there was no frog in the padlock. It was 87 degrees outside then we checked on PR he was home today he was very very very ugly. Then we made lunch and ate it in the basement it was to cold so we decided to go up stairs. After we ate our lunch we checked on the salt lick it looked rippled. Then we took the chainsaw and cut logs on the trail then we cut the log that was blocking the creek. Soon we figured out that the creek goes under a gigantic stump. Then we took a brake and cut a rock with a rock cutter. After that we got drinks. Then we went back and dug a new ditch for the creek it was steaming hot and full of mosquitos. We got tired and headed in for the day we are dinner and then we played sentence cubes game.

Wednesday morning Andrew slept in until 9:00AM. We saw PR again. Then we went back to work and built a new creek around the stump instead of under it. Then we had lunch in the cabin. After that we went on a huge rocky cliff and came back.. When we came back when we came back Grandpa took his chainsaw and cut through the big stump. Then we let the water in the creek. After that we spread chips on the trail. Grandpa unrolled the copper pipe. Then Grandpa tried to cut through an iron pipe but it dulled his chainsaw. So he dug under the iron pipe and shoved the copper pipe under it as soon as we where done we took pictures of us and the pipe. We went back to the trailer it was 90 degrees in the trail at dinner. We played sentence cubes game again. Thursday morning PR was home again Grandpa said he was moving out. Then we spread chips on the rest of the trails. Finally we left lake Wenatchee at 11:00AM.
