2/2-6/26 I went up to Camp Serendipity for 5 days: Monday through Friday.
I had a dentist's appointment in the morning which delayed my trip. I arrived at 12:30 in the rain. I brought my gear up in two trips, hoisting the flag in between.
On Tuesday morning, the temperature outside was 26 degrees but it was not raining. After my piano practice, the temperature outside was 30 degrees and the snow was thawing on top, making the trail a little slippery. I hauled firewood rounds up the hill anyway being careful of my footing all the while.
After lunch and a nap I walked to the grave on a nearly dry road. The temperature hovered around 30 degrees.
On Wednesday morning, the temperature outside was 30 degrees. It seems like Spring has arrived but maybe the groundhog was right. We'll see. After practicing the piano, I had an early lunch and nap and then I walked to the grave. I downloaded the news headlines on my walk and then read them after I got back. Then I practiced the piano some more and worked a little on the puzzle.
On Thursday morning I fertilized Tiger and then practiced the piano. Then I went outside and dragged and stacked quite a bit of firewood.
After lunch and a nap, I walked to the grave. The temperature was 30 degrees and the road was nearly dry.
On Friday morning, the temperature was down a little to 23 degrees. After practicing the piano, I had an early lunch so I could leave early. I packed up my gear and left for home at 11:45. It had been another fun and relaxing week.
