10/9-12/23 I went up to Camp Serendipity for four days: Monday through Thursday.
I arrived at 12:55 and brought my gear up in two trips. I hoisted the flag, had my lunch and a nap, and then made-up the bed with the bedding I had laundered and brought back.
On Tuesday I started by practicing the piano. Then I went outside and mortared stones into the wall using one batch of mortar.
After lunch and a nap, I went back outside and took some pictures of the fall foliage. Then I mixed up one more batch of mortar and laid up more stones.
On Wednesday the temperature when I got up was 36 degrees and it was downpouring. I practiced the piano, listened to the radio for a while, and by then the rain had stopped. I went outside and took some more pictures. Then I harvested, washed, and stacked more stones to be put in the wall.
After lunch and a nap, I selected stones and laid them in the wall using one batch of mortar.
On Thursday I practiced the piano, listened to the radio, and vacuumed the first floor. Then I packed up to leave because I had a doctor's appointment the next day. It was a short but productive week. I took a picture
of the progress of the wall so far. I left for home at 12:50 with the mortar batch count at 33.
