4/25/26-9/27/26 I spent the entire summer dealing with, and gradually recovering, from heart failure. The treatment consisted of the installation of a pacemaker, an AV-node ablation, and some changes in my medications.
I'd say that my recovery is roughly 85% complete. What remains is to regain my strength.
On 9/11/26, Ellen and I went up to Camp Serendipity and spent one night. The trip was intended to test and to demonstrate my readiness to resume my weekly solo trips to Camp Serendipity and get back to work on the stone wall. I mixed up one batch of mortar and used it to lay up 6 or 8 stones in the wall. That more or less proved that I am ready.
9/14/26 I resumed my usual pattern of going to Camp Serendipity on a weekly basis, but I have decided to stop journaling the visits in the detailed descriptions I used to record in the Journal Entries. I will still post entries to this journal from time to time but they will be for unusual events, or for some other reason I think readers might be interested in.
