Scouts 9/11

These pictures show some of the scenes from the 2011 fall planning session of Troop 100 from Ballard Washington. Paul Hendricks, the scoutmaster and superb chef, sets his kitchen up on the front porch of the cabin. Bill Dunnell, one of the troop bus drivers, helps with the cooking. Bert and Ernie made the rounds of the tents in the morning to wake the boys up. The boys did their planning inside the cabin but took breaks to do service projects around Camp Serendipity. They removed nails from boards and logs from the old trailer snow shelter, and they watered the giant sequoia trees. There was also some good story telling that had everyone laughing. It was a fun and productive weekend.
