7/3-5/24 I went up to Camp Serendipity for three days: Wednesday through Friday.

I arrived at 12:10 and carried my gear up in two trips. I hoisted the flag and then had my lunch. I skipped my nap and walked to the grave. On the way I met John O'Brien who is clearing the ground getting ready to build an A-frame about a half a mile up the road. I saw him last week but didn't meet him until today.

Back at the cabin I unpacked my gear and then practiced the piano.

On Thursday I started by practicing the piano and then Bill called just as I was about to start my walk to the grave. We had a delightful conversation for about an hour. Then I went out and walked to the grave.

After lunch and a nap, I got the string trimmer out and used up both batteries whacking the weeds in the parking lot, the roadway, near the concrete staircase, and in front of the cabin.

On Friday morning I practiced the piano and walked to the grave. When I got back, I did some vacuuming and then stripped the bed to prepare it for the visitors next week. I had my lunch and then left for home at 12:15.

I am excited about the visitors to the cabin next week.
