12/15/16 This is the rigging for the ladder for reaching up and getting the flag loose from a tightly jammed pulley. The flagpole could not support the weight of the ladder so the ladder is held back by the two ropes you see.

12/15/16 Another view of the rigging. The flag was successfully freed after Paul climbed to the top of the ladder.
