6/1/11 The delivery truck arrives on the lower roadway with the load of 30 12-foot sheets of drywall and 8 boxes of drywall mud.

6/1/11 The boom with the forks is moving to pick the load up from off the truck bed.

6/1/11 The load is picked up off the truck bed.

6/1/11 Here the delivery guys are setting stickers on the ground to set the load on.

6/1/11 The load is being swung from the truck over to the stickers.

6/1/11 Here the load of drywall is being set down on the stickers.

6/1/11 The drywall load is on the ground in the lower parking area covered with tarps. My truck is parked off to the side to make room for Mike to get his front loader in to pick up the drywall and bring it up to the cabin.

6/1/11 Here the load of drywall is arriving at the upper roadway on a set of forks sticking out from the bucket on Mike's front loader.

6/1/11 It is a very close fit. The 12-foot wide load barely fit between the trees and brush around the hairpin turn, and at the top, the load barely brushes the porch deck with the loader's wheels at the edge of the roadway. Fortunately the Camp Serendipity sign did not have to be moved. The load and bucket went under it, and the tractor stopped just short of it as you can see. The bucket was able to be raised to porch height without hitting the sign, although the bucket boom just missed the sign. It was a perfect fit with almost no slack.

6/1/11 The drywall was raised so that it just lapped over the edge of the porch deck by about an inch.

6/1/11 Mike's guys are sliding individual bundles of two sheets off the stack...

6/1/11 ... carrying them into the cabin ...

6/1/11 ... and stacking them against the interior columns.

6/1/11 All 30 sheets are safely stacked inside ready for the drywaller.
